Kids Continental Divan Bed with a Wavy Headboard and Storage in Soft Modern Style | Mellia

Mellia Children's Divan Bed — Fairytale Design and Restful Sleep

The Mellia divan bed is a charming and stylish choice created especially for children, bringing a joyful and distinctive atmosphere to their room. Its unique design, inspired by the shape of a soft wave, instantly makes it a standout feature of the interior. The fully upholstered, child-friendly construction combines playful character with high functionality, creating an ideal space for both a restful night's sleep and carefree moments during the day. It is a piece of furniture designed to create a cosy, harmonious retreat where every child can feel comfortable.

Unique Wave-Shaped Headboard

The main decorative feature of Mellia is its 120 cm high headboard with a playful wave-shaped design, finished with elegant double piping. The backrest is padded with a soft 3 cm layer of foam, providing comfortable support for bedtime stories or relaxing in a semi-reclined position in the morning. The upholstered headboard also helps protect the wall from marks, while its soft form avoids sharp edges and adds extra comfort to the child's bedroom.

Continental Comfort for Younger Sleepers

Mellia is a fully designed divan bed featuring a carefully considered multi-layer construction. The base incorporates a 20 cm high layer (part of the bed structure) combining a Bonnell spring system with flexible T-25 foam. This combination provides even weight distribution, responsive surface flexibility and comfortable support throughout the night. A topper is not included and can be bought separately. The bed is 50 cm high, making it easy for a child to climb in and out of bed on their own.

Practical Storage and Child-Friendly Sizes

Beneath the sleeping surface is a practical bedding storage compartment that opens conveniently from the front of the bed, providing space for additional pillows, blankets or favourite toys. The entire structure rests on elegant 14 cm high wooden legs, giving the bed a visually lighter appearance while making it easier to clean underneath. Mellia has a consistent overall width of 90 cm and is available in two lengths: 167 cm for a 90 × 160 cm sleeping area and 187 cm for a 90 × 180 cm sleeping area.
