Modern-style modular sofa bed | Iskeli

The Iskeli modular sofa – a cosy retreat for lazy evenings

The Iskeli modular sofa features a simple, understated design that exudes softness and homely warmth from the very first moment. It comprises two wide modules with armrests, which together form a piece measuring 260 cm wide, 109 cm deep and 85 cm high. Four people can sit comfortably on such a spacious seat, and no one has to fight for their bit of the backrest. Large, loosely arranged cushions and low black legs lend the sofa a sense of lightness, making it a perfect fit for both modern and more classic living rooms. This sofa bed, complete with storage for bedding, combines cosy relaxation with everyday practicality. It's ideal for the living room, a guest room or a flat where every metre counts.

A seat that envelops you from the very first moment
The seats are 45 cm high and a full 70 cm deep, so it's easy to sink in, tuck your legs under and stay for longer. The seat width in each module is 103 cm – plenty of space for shared film nights and family afternoons. Beneath the upholstery are wave springs and T30 polyurethane foam, which provide springy yet soothing support. The backrest is filled with soft polyurethane foam, and two backrest cushions measuring 105 × 50 cm provide comfortable support for your back whilst reading or chatting. The backrest frame is 69 cm from the floor, giving the sofa a light appearance and ensuring it doesn't overwhelm the room.

A sofa bed with storage space for bedding
Each of the two modules has its own sleep function with the Automat DL mechanism and a storage compartment for bedding. It's a sofa bed that's suitable for everyday sleeping, not just for the occasional overnight stay of guests. You can stow away blankets, pillows and duvets in the storage compartments in the evening, and by morning the living room is tidy again and ready for a leisurely cup of coffee. You'll appreciate this solution in a smaller flat and anywhere there isn't enough space for an extra chest of drawers.

A sofa that grows with you
Iskeli is part of a modular system, so today's sofa could become a larger set in the future. You can combine the two modules with armrests, measuring 128 × 109 × 85 cm, with a centre module measuring 105 × 108 × 85 cm, a corner module measuring 108 × 108 × 85 cm, or an ottoman with armrest measuring 128 × 156 × 85 cm. With these elements, you can easily build a longer sofa or a cosy modular corner sofa for a larger living room. If you'd like a different arrangement of modules, please get in touch with us – we'll prepare a quote tailored to your interior.

Sturdy construction and meticulous attention to detail
The sofa's frame is made from wood and chipboard, ensuring stability for everyday use. The back is fully upholstered, so you can place the sofa not only against a wall but also in the middle of the room to create a relaxation area in an open-plan living room. The armrests are 25 cm wide and 58 cm high – you can comfortably rest your elbow, a book or a cup of hot tea on them. The low legs, made of black plastic, lift the sofa off the floor and lend it a subtle sense of lightness.

Aragon weave – an easy-to-clean fabric
The sofa is upholstered in Aragon woven fabric with a weight of 340 g/m², which feels pleasant to the touch in everyday use. This fabric is easy to clean – many stains can be removed with water alone, whilst its water-repellent properties make it harder for liquids to be absorbed. With an abrasion resistance of 45,000–60,000 cycles, the fabric withstands daily wear and tear well, even with children and pets around. Aragon is flame-retardant and pet-friendly, so your pet can nap right next to you without any worries. It is available in nine colours: Creamy Taupe, Icy Azure, Dark Ash, Ink Granite, Matt Cinnamon, Golden Linen, Nutty Beige, Raven's Depth and Steel Grey.

Pillovely – a cosy start to every evening, whether it's just the two of you or with your loved ones.
