Continental Divan Bed with a Rounded Headboard in Modern Organic Style | Portela

Portela Divan Bed — Modern Softness and Luxurious Comfort

The Portela divan bed combines modern simplicity with a cosy, inviting design. Its distinctive rounded headboard and fully upholstered form create a harmonious silhouette that brings a sense of balance, elegance and exceptional comfort to the bedroom. It is designed for those who expect more from their bedroom than simply a place to sleep — a private retreat that fits perfectly into contemporary interiors.

Double Comfort and Hotel-Standard Sleep

Portela is a premium divan bed in which the traditional slatted base is replaced by an advanced multi-layer system designed for restful sleep. The solid base features an integrated Bonnell spring system that responds precisely to pressure and distributes body weight evenly. On top of the base sit two matching 20 cm high Bonnell spring units (part of the bed structure), further enhancing the pleasantly responsive feel. For an even higher level of comfort, these units can be upgraded to pocket springs for an additional charge. A topper is not included and can be bought separately.

A Rounded Headboard Made for Relaxation

The 115 cm high, softly upholstered headboard with its gently rounded lines is the perfect companion for long evenings and lazy mornings. It provides stable and exceptionally comfortable support for your back and head while reading, watching your favourite series or using mobile devices. Its carefully designed construction helps relieve pressure on the neck and shoulders, allowing you to fully relax in a semi-reclined position while adding an exceptionally cosy touch to the bedroom.

The Right Size and Everyday Ergonomics

The bed has been designed with maximum everyday comfort in mind. Its luxurious sleeping surface height of 52 cm makes getting in and out of bed easier while reducing strain on the joints. The entire structure rests on elegant 13 cm wooden legs. Portela is available in four overall widths: 180 cm (for a 140 × 200 cm sleeping surface), 200 cm (for 160 × 200 cm), 220 cm (for 180 × 200 cm) and 240 cm (for 200 × 200 cm). The overall length remains 224 cm across all variants.
