Product description

Decorative rug Sokkelo - graphic contrast without unnecessary ornamentation

Sokkelo is a rug for those who appreciate clear forms and a restrained approach to interior design. Its surface is built from a series of angular, irregularly arranged shapes, while deep black meets off-white to make each one a distinct part of the composition. It is a sense of calm expressed through strong contrast - without floral patterns or ornamentation, but with a clearly defined character.

Geometry that needs nothing more

Sokkelo’s angular form works on its own and does not need additional details. The rug is already a strong element within the interior, making it especially suitable for spaces where the rest of the furnishings are more subdued.

Softness beneath sharp lines

Despite its graphic and bold pattern, the rug feels surprisingly soft to the touch. Hand-tufted New Zealand wool with a 12 mm pile creates a dense, soft surface that balances the strong colour contrast and feels pleasant underfoot.

Craftsmanship you can feel

Sokkelo is handcrafted using the tufting technique and based on a design created in Europe. The 100% cotton backing helps provide stability and keeps the rug firmly in place on the floor.

For interiors with a strong character

Sokkelo pairs particularly well with dark wood, stone or leather - materials that allow its simple colour contrast to become a strong yet elegant element in a living room or home office. Available in 140x200, 160x240, 200x300 and 300x400 cm.

Pillovely, a love for the warmth of home.
